Compose Icons with Image Objects

Compose Icons with Image Objects

Image Objects remain one of the most distinctive IconWorkshop features. Instead of starting from a blank canvas, you assemble polished pieces from the library and then customize the result into a finished icon.

How to use Image Objects well

  1. Create a new icon project at the largest practical size.
  2. Open the Librarian and browse the installed object packs.
  3. Drag the base object onto the canvas, then stack details and accents.
  4. Adjust color, opacity, and effects until the icon feels custom rather than assembled.

This workflow is ideal for internal tools, utilities, and control icons where production speed matters as much as originality.
